Dr. Carter has been in practice since 1994. He is a doctor of chiropractic graduate of The National University of Health Science in Lombard Illinois. The National University is one of the most prestigious Chiropractic schools in the North America. While earning his doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Carter became proficient in many techniques of treatment including Diversified, Gonstead, Applied Kinesiology, Active Release Technique, and Cox flexion-distraction technique.
Upon graduation, Dr. Carter worked in other Chiropractic clinics under the mentorship of some of the greatest chiropractic physicians. He honed his skills and developed his tool kit of adjustments and treatments to help people with the most difficult problems and get the best results. Dr. Carter continued his education in acupuncture, physiotherapy, clinical nutrition, anti-aging and longevity, sports medicine, and Chiropractic Neurology, and Orthopaedics.
Dr. Carter lectures on health topics such as stress, hormones, immunity, and inflammation. He is a member of the foundation for wellness professionals and is a doctor speaker.
Dr. Carter is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association, Carolina Chiropractors, and the American Chiropractic Association.
In his off time, you may see him cycling on the greenway or hiking around falls lake, or working out at Lifetime Fitness.
His purpose is to help people no matter if they are patients in the office or people in public that need his help.
